A scone needs either cream or butter. Instead, you could easily make my Classic Traditional Scones, https://www.delightfulrepast.com/2018/08/classic-scones-traditional-scones.html, with a vegan butter and non-dairy milk. I often use organic rice milk. I hope you'll give that one a try and let me know how it worked for you.Jean | DelightfulRepast.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02038772991628796917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7131812739348646014.post-43302994795341825342021-05-13T15:13:20.392-07:002021-05-13T15:13:20.392-07:00It says no milk, but you use cream. Probably a good idea to not add all the liquid at once -- maybe start with the vanilla extract and half the cream, then add in as much as you need. These hit the point between bakery fattening and home made healthy really well. I used dates for my fruit, and the low side of the sugar. Instead of wedges I did 12 rounds, which gives me evener portion control. The cream really gave them great texture. And so simple.
